Greetings! I am a freshmen in college who recently relocated to the East Coast for school. Film and Television, Literature, Theatre and Traveling are all hobbies of mine that I intend to write about here. I have been meaning to start a new blog all year but never got around to doing so. But finally here I am, the day after this year's Oscars finally establishing a new blog.
I chose to name my blog "Off Sunset Boulevard" because of my ever-growing interest and inspiration from Hollywood and the Arts. I recently worked on a project titled Sunset Boulevard, a re-imagining of the 1950 film and a piece of writing that I am very proud to say that I have accomplished. I plan to study either Public Relations or Film & Television and work in Los Angeles someday in association with some form of Entertainment.
In this blog, you will find entries about Film and Television series that I am interested or have watched recently, thoughts and reviews about Theatre (another hobby of mine), and also entries about books I read and places I visit. And of course, I will also write about my personal life every so often.
A quote from one of my favorite movies, UP, is that "Life is an adventure". Like Carl's journey to Paradise Falls to fulfill his wife Ellie's lifelong dream, I plan to also document all the ups and downs and adventures that life will bring my way. And last but not least, I look forward to writing about whatever inspires me here and I hope that you enjoy reading it!
